Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Secondary Glazing?
Secondary glazing can provide a cost-effective and efficient way of improving the heat retention, sound reduction and security of your existing windows.
What are the Benefits of Secondary Glazing?
Secondary glazing is a cost-effective way of improving heat retention and sound reduction in your home, as well as providing some additional security.
Heat loss is reduced with secondary glazing because it adds a second layer of glass behind your existing windows that reduces both the amount of warm air that can escape from your home and the amount of cold air that can enter your home.
Will there be Less Noise?
To experience less external noise, secondary glazing also acts as an extra physical barrier against the outside noise reducing the amount of sound coming into your home through closed windows. Noise reduction can be further enhanced by installing sound-reducing laminate glass. Having a gap of 100mm between the secondary and existing window will give further enhancement.
Manufacturer's Warranty, What is that?
Once a purchase is made, the 10 year* warranty policy is covered. Please ask us for more information regarding the warranty. We really want our customers to understand the policy in detail as we often see companies almost hiding these details. We will fully inform all of our clients about the warranty policy during any order.
Which Area's Do You Cover?
We are based in Nottingham but cover the entire Nottinghamshire and East Midlands region. However we do often venture further out, so wherever you are, it’s worth getting in touch with us.
Do You Offer Home Visits?
Yes, for sure! As long as you are in the East Midlands region we have you covered. Arrange a home visit and we can bring with us some samples for you to browse and decide on. This is completely free, no obligation consultation.
